Sharon stared playing violin when she was 6 years old and she only missed one lesson in all this time. She is also qualified to teach and she has played in an orchestra. Not content with this, as well as playing the piano, as all the four members do, Sharon is also learning the guitar. She said in a Radio interview, that she hadn't quite mastered Paul Weller's 'Wild Wood' yet...
One of Sharon's jobs before the band, was as manager of a record shop, wich she really enjoyed.
Sharon is a big fan of Crowed House and an admirer of Neil Finn's songwriting talents. At the Q awards in November, she was introduced to Neil Finn. When asked if she'd had the chance to talk to him, her answer was "Yeah, but I was too awestruck to speak!"
